Just ahead of the official release of the Sniper Update for Team Fortress 2, Valve have maintained their roll out of humorous media and information, today offering up an old comic-book style ad (ripped right from the old-school Charles Atlas bodybuilder beach bully ad) that continues their 'Jarate' exposure, as well as listing all the available Achievements you'll have once the update is applied.

Hit this link to check it out, and make sure you jump onto Steam over the weekend (there's also a Spy Update applying at the same time) to get in there early. UPDATE: For anyone who hasn't heard yet, this weekend is also a fully free TF2 Steam session to celebrate the release of the update.

Anyone else a bit disappointed with the sniper unlocks?

What did you expect for the sniper? You got protection from a common issue for snipers, getting stabbed in the back and you got a more interesting and probably more challenging weapon rather than just another sniper rifle. I'm happy with it.

also tf2 will be free to play for this weekend.

piss in the jar is good though, makes sniper a bit more of a team friendly class - i like that you can put out your teammates fires, be cool to save a life when a medic isn't around

I watched the Meet the Sniper video again today, (went through them all for all times sake) and noticed the Jarate is actually in the video, which was released a year ago.

Shows they had the idea on the cards for some time!

I'm getting a 'Server is forcing consistancy for this file: particles\water_dx80.pcf' error when joining maps now.

I don't play normal TF2 so don't really care about the sniper/spy updates.. I just wanna play on the TF2 Surf maps. They're addictive as crack

AOE = Area of Effect. So toss your piss into a crowd of people and it will go on all of them.

god damn thats even worse. i got backburner for a second time... ffs just give me the new weapons. i dont need weapons i already have.

This sound dissapointing, to be honest. Were they just sick of people using unlockers? You know some of us had fun working at achievements to get the guns :/

New double payload race is the best map so far!
