Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube was one of the best JRPGs (Japanese RPGs) I ever played. I clocked something in the vicinity of 80 hours of gameplay and felt it could have given me even more. Thankfully Namco Bandai think the same, and so the first official Tales of Symphonia sequel is coming to Wii, as a direct follow up to the GameCube outing (usually each update to the series is stand alone, similarly to Final Fantasy). Set two years after the events of the award-winning Tales of Symphonia, Dawn of the New World introduces two new young heroes, Emil Castagnier and Marta Lualdi, as they journey to find the cause of a catastrophic change in their world.Neat. I'm excited. There are also some PAL exclusive components to the game, which you can check out via the official press release. There are also more screens and videos over at our game page. |
