While the PS3 beta is doing the rounds (and we've had a crack here, ourselves), DICE have said the planned PC demo has been pushed back to early 2010 so as to offer PC gamers a far more robust and comprehensive demo.

"With the huge success of the PS3 Beta we decided to drastically increase the PC Beta's capacity to insure as many people as possible could participate," said DICE's Gordon Van Dyke via the developer and game's official blog. "Unfortunately this meant we had to delay the Beta to very early next year giving us more planning time to make it happen and implement more optimisations."

So, while once again it seems like the PC is being shafted, at least this time around it's to give PC gamers a much better version. Stay tuned for a full hands-on report regarding what we played with the PS3 demo.

I hope this game will be better then MW2 in The multilayer department, just so we can say, I told you so, to all the MW2 people.

funny, I loaded up BF:BC yesterday on xbox and there are still a few people playing multiplayer, and it wasnt that much different to MW2 (s***ter graphics in comparison - obviously, but the gameplay was still there - oh, and blowing up the environment just makes it that much cooler imo)

there is still lots and lots of people playing BF:BC on PS3 and s**tloads of people are playing BF1943 - ive got MW2 and to be honest i dont enjoy it multiplayer but i didnt like COD4 multiplayer either, single player is fantastic though.

I prefer large maps, vehicles, planes, boats and spawning where i want too, to achieve the best outcome for my team when going online. BF is designed around cap the flag, COD has always been death match orientated which is fine if you like that sort of thing.

MW2 is a completely different beast multiplayer and thats why i have never like any CoD games multiplayer yet i absolutely love every single BF game from BF1942, BF2, BF:BC and BF1943. I just want them to expand on BF1943 to do justice for BF1942 as that game spawned this whole series and was monumental.
