Epic and Microsoft Games Studios have released a new batch of screenshots for the hotly anticipated Gears of War 2, the upcoming Xbox 360 exclusive sequel to their hit over-the-shoulder action title.

The new batch of images includes shots from the game's singleplayer campaign and multiplayer modes, as well as five images that compare the Gears of War mutliplayer map Gridlock, with its successor in Gears of War 2. Point your browsers over in this direction for the goodness.

On the topic. Gamevidoes have a streamer of a recent 1up interview with Cliffy B that shows off some of the game's multiplayer action.
