Two new demos available locally - Universal Combat: A World Apart and Pychotoxic. After a pretty quiet January we're starting to see a stack of game demos coming out; hopefully as E3 approaches we'll see even more!

Hopefully as E3 approaches those arsehats at 3D Realms will get their fingers out...and show something new of the Duke.

Well after looking at some screens and being completely bored I decided to download and try out Psychotoxic. From the screens it looked kinda D3esque and not too bad...

Boy was I wrong! I think this game is contender for worst FPS I have ever seen :S

The world looks half decent is the only thing it really has going for it, but comes nowhere near HL2 or D3.

The models look horrible and move and die like constipated zombies, the AI is terrible I had guys sitting behind chain link fences just sitting there while I walked right up to them and shot them in the face through the fence. I shot some guy and he just sat down and died I couldn't stop laughing.

Guns look and sound like crap, really sound in general sucks.

The ground looked like there was glitter everywhere in the snow, it looked stupid.

They used a goth chick with large tits and G-string showing to try to appeal to gamers... lame.

You get these "angel force" powerups like magical bullet shield, invisibility, and life regen... gaaaaaaaay goth power to the rescue!@!#!@


Overall it gets a rating of "ABSOLUTELY 100% f***ING CRAP" from me, save your 200 meg and use it on porn instead, it would be much more enjoyable.

I would seriously be embarrased to be on the dev team that made it, I don't know why they bother these days days with crap like this after HL2 and D3. They would have to pay ME to play the game.
