Topic: Sam and Max Sequel Announced

EA and LucasArts sent out a press release officially announcing the sequel to the hugely popular Sam and Max adventure game.
Sam & Max, interactive entertainment's most beloved canine and rabbit combo, hit the road again first quarter 2004 in a long awaited adventure comedy sequel for Windows PC from LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC. The follow up to the critically acclaimed 1993 adventure classic Sam & Max Hit the Road will dispatch the Freelance Police into a wild world of screwy and vaguely quixotic missions. Each one will be jam packed with nerve-jangling action, brain-busting puzzles, and the kind of easygoing banter one might expect from a talking dog and a naked, hyperkinetic bunny.
It has been a long time since I've played any sort of adventure game, but I had a blast playing the original LucasArts series of games (Day of the Tentacle especially!), so this one definitely looks interesting.

Sweet, the first one was sooo funny and I hope they dont lose the fun element for the sake of graphics like some games have. They had better not kill it, however I do have faith that it will be just as good, if not better.

Cant wait to see it on the shelves!!

"Max, where should I put this, so it doesnt hurt anybody we know or care about?"
"Out the window Sam, there is nothing but strangers out there".

*BOOM*

"I sure hope there was nobody on that bus."
"No one we know at least"

teehee, loved that part :D

Yer but back in the days when games where fun. Now it is a bunch of kids cheating or whinging when they get killed playing CS. Fun is something that I have been missing in a lot of games, however it all came back when I played BF1942. That game rox :D

Sam: Hey, a talking cat!
Cat: Look, a stupid dog. You must be the freelance police.
Sam: Yes well, don't go blabbing it to everybody.
Also smeghead, get over it. Anyway, Sam & Max was indeed a great game, funnier than Day of the Tentacle, though unfortunately shorter. If its as good as the latest Monkey Island game, ill be happy. Thats the second strangest talking dog and rabbit detetcive combo ive ever seen!

Sam:"It's a one-two-hundred-thousandth scale model of the actual ball of twine."

Max: "And it's only 1/200,000th as stupid as the real ball of twine."

Fun Facts about the World's Largest Ball of Twine:
"If laid out from end to end, the ball would stretch from here to Jupiter. Also, scientists theorise that by 2053 the sheer weight of the Ball will push the Earth out of his orbit, propelling our planet on a collision course with the sun!"

Max: "Good thing my life expectancy is only six years."

Sam: "Way to take the short view, little buddy."

The problem with FT was that it was too short, still a great game tho.
I also enjoyed the Dig if anyone remembers that.

The Dig was good, up till the end bit with the giant space chickens, then it was pure stupid.
