Queensland Counter-Strike clan Function Zero took out the CPL event held in Sydney today, taking down No Remorse in what sounds like a bit of a drubbing handed out by QGL regulars. AusPantheon.com reports:

Sporting a lineup to be reckoned with: nitro, methz, flatbeat, defcon and amorst, f-zer0 proved to be unstoppable through the event, ripping through any compeition placed in front of them. After an extremley tense final match against PIL #1 ranked clan (nR) noRemorse.

Huge congratulations to f-zer0 for their efforts and for showing the mexicans how its done!

GG f-zer0 and all the other QLD teams too, showed everyone that we're a decent gaming state ;)

but, there's a lot of faggy posts on the auspantheon forums that give Qld just as bad an attitude as the rest of them. Why not just say GG to them and show that we're better sports than them?

I only had a quick glance at that other thread, but I'll insert my 2c here - I just think as soon as anyone gets near an near-anonymous forum, they act like kids. I don't think most computer gamers have the maturity to control themselves in an online forum. That's why LANs rock !

We didn't see any of them. Everyone was nice, everyone respected everyone (cept some iCHOR members).

CPL was smooth from started til the end. I think all of the teams had fun playing there and was a nice experince. Admins did a v.nice job. GJ!

F'zer0, what can I say, they were gods on the day, no one came close to them. Hopefully they will play like that or even better at CPL-WC. F'zer0 the lee7 progamers who fly around the world to play Counter-Strike. Ooooh kunt! ^^
