Jennifer Aniston is set to star in a new sitcom - on the internet. She has signed a deal with American teen website Voxxy to appear in and produce a 13-part comedy called Jen XX. Jennifer says: "I'm looking forward to interacting directly with the audience and getting to say things I can't say on network TV. It'll provide a platform which cuts through the hype and allows me to speak honestly with teenagers about anything from self-image and social politics to family and friends."

Cate Blanchett, the Aussie actress who starred in such movies as Elizabeth, The Talented Mr Ripley, and The Lord of the Rings, has apparently given up films for sex. She is determined to have some "quality time" with her husband, whom she married in 1997, and possibly have a child.

DreamWorks has acquired an untitled romantic comedy pitch from Lisa Jones for Chris Rock to produce and possibly star in. The script is about infertility and the effect it has on a couple's marriage. The story follows a New York-based public relations executive and his struggle with the inability to impregnate his wife, leading him to feel like "the only black man in America shooting blanks," according to Jones.
