That counts me out for buying that. Looks awesome though, but no movie is worth that unless you're a serious collector.

By saying the movie content is on 2 disks, do they mean you have to switch halfway through? Or is it Widescreen format on one and standard on the other??? Switching would RUIN the movies flow.

I think the first movie disk is just the original movie, second is probably the directors cut.

when something hits cult status, for god knows what reason you can seel whatever useless collectors s*** and people will still pay .

give it a few months and the price will drop for all us stooges to buy and enjoy

Others have done it, Godfather 2 I think does it. As a couple of others. I too think the idea of it sucks poo, as it seems to defeat the purpose of DVD. Still it'll be top notch quality.

Think about it, nearly 4 hours of good quality video with a Dolby 2.0 and a dolby ex5.1 and a Dolby es 6.1 soundtrack. Audio commentary. Something had to give.

Laurence of Arabia is on 2 Dvds as well.

Some other movie is split across 2 disks too. Actually, I'm not sure about that. If I find out, I'll post it though.

Ben Hur and Gone With The Wind would have to be across 2 discs. Those bastards run for 4 hours each.
