i hate it how the police say that because they speed they are doomed for a deadly crash and the like

speeding can be safe but it has to be in the right conditions, wot these racers are doing seems quite safe to me since they keep all normal traffic out of the way

and in germany the autobahns havent been banned so they musnt be a complete death trap and ppl do these kinds of speeds but with regular traffic on the road with them

and i cant see how puncturing tyres can be considered a safe tactic by the police because if someone is traveling at 300km/h and these spikes or whatever they are blow out a tyre ( i dont see how they can control between punturing and bursting) then that would result the a disaster like they said that they feared

the m1 is a very good piece of road and if these "turbo boys" can keep it safe like they seem to be doing i dont see a problem with them hitting high speeds

A Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 will rape a Supra GT in a drag.

wouldnt that f*** up traffic?

no wait, let me answer that, it would. f***en wankers should take their cars to a track if they wanna race em.

I can see what you mean maxe, but....if the cars that are racing are going at 180+kph, then you would assume the cars blocking traffic would be going no less than 100 or so. The only prob with congestion i could see is at the start (if they start at less han 100) OR if the flip there car and crash.

Hey Wang, why dont you take "your" 34 down there.

yes, but even if the blockig cars are moving constantly above 100 kph, its going to prevent the natural flow of traffic along the road.

thats how traffic jams form, not cos someone stops on the road, but its if one car slows a little. cos the car behind it has to slow a little more, then the one behind that, until finally way back on the road someone has to stop entirely.

and what about the cars in front of these racers?

well maxe, u would think they would do it at a time when cars on the road is at a minimum, like 3 in the morning.

someone should setup big long race tracks with big walls at the end of them for idiots like those (in the articles) to die a horrible (yet fast, realy fast) death

Didn't that happen to some drag-racing guy a couple of months ago? Got to a pretty fast speed, then couldn't slow down. Car connected with wall at 200+km/h or so. That was on a track, not a road.

As far as Im concerned, people can race on tracks all they like...just keep racing (and speeding in general) off the roads.

yeah it was the guy in the judge that died

and maxe they would just drive slow for a bit i guess and let the traffic in front get ahead

and they race in areas where there no onramps so they will have a completely free road

and if there is a problem they have spotters up ahead

*sigh*

This s*** just isn't cool. That said - I think I speed too much.

they do this late at night so there won't be much traffic, so the few cars on the road will have to be slowed down until there is enough road to race, then the traffic will be able to go at normal speeds.
