Slashdot has a quick news post with some links to more information on the GeForce 3; seems that a few places have been getting evaluation boards or systems to have a tinker with. Looking forward to this baby coming out; hopefully it will kick down the price of the high-end GF2s but still manage to keep them on the market.

its not worth it to go out and by a Gf3 as soon as they come out your not going to see any better then a gf2 ultra with current games , in 6 months time tho :D

I was in EB today at I'pilly and was told that the Hercules Geforce 3 is expected there in two weeks. $1200 clams.

I agree with everyone that getting a G3 immediately would be pure luxury as not much around uses all the features. Although the HRAA would be very nice to have straight away.

But for someone like me, who has a Herc 64 meg GTS2 it's a bit if a catch 22 situation. Sell the ol girl off now and get a fair price for it and buy a G3. Or wait 6 months and get whatever Nvidia have released by then (G4?, G3 Ultras ect...) If i wait 6 months I don't think i will get the same 'fair price' for my current card as many people will most probably be scouting for people selling their outdated G3's...

It's a cruel world but sometimes ya just have to keep pace with bleeding edge technology and enjoy it. I bought my Her GTS2 immediatley, actually I think I got the first card in the Oz, and paid $999 for it...do I regret it? Hell no I have enjoyed kick arse performance from the day I dropped it in my box, no regrets whatsoever.

I guess I may just go the same route with the G3's....can't help myself i guess!

I heard that the GF3 was being recalled because they've found some design flaws. The release will most likely be put back a few weeks.
