Peter's a good bloke, he took time away from parliament on a *voting day* (i.e. a day parliament was sitting, not an election day - probably worse actually) to come see us in the hospital during a family crisis.

yeah he seems better than most pollies to me. . .I've met him a few times before he was premier and he was always a top bloke.

a freind of mine ran for a seat last year in our electorate. he's in the free mull party. funny thing is that the party got more votes (1250ish) when they didnt have a local rep, compared to last year when my mate ran, they only got 1050ish votes.

Premier Mbeattie has more teeth than a busload of Mormons. I hate him, but what alternative do we have. He is a good argument for abolising one level of government tho...

Beatie isn't too bad really. The only Labour guy I'd ever vote for.. his competition in Queensland is really s***. But he has some good ideas and is doin pretty well despite being under no pressure from anyone else taking his job (the other parties are too s*** in QLD), which is good.

And Steve Irwin totally f***ing owns!!!
