I was a bit too busy on Friday to get a chance to stick up the weeks hottest selling game titles. Finally the world of gamers have seen the light, and a non-Sims game is finally at the number 1 spot for top selling PC games! The most awesome of hack and slash games to be seen this year Dungeon Siege has taken the number one spot. Jedi Knight 2 is still going strong since its release, and is at number three, and also medal of honor is still managing to hold its own, probably because of the awesome servers we put up at GameArena a few weeks ago (really!).

1. Dungeon Siege RPG
2. The Sims Vacation Strat
3. Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Adv
4. The Sims Strat
5. The Sims Hot Date Strat
6. Medal of Honor Allied Assault Action
7. The Sims Collectors Edition Strat
8. Harry Potter Adv
9. The Sims Livin’ Large Strat
10. Empire Earth Strat

So there you have it, this was the week ending 21st April by the way folks.

The EA games are gonna be given out next qgl afaik.

Also, it makes the baby jesus cry when half the top 10 best selling games are Sims games :(

I'm surprised they still sell the original "The Sims". If they just sold the compilation and the expansion packs they'd make more sales.

MMORPG are better. But hey, MW is 1 playa so should be HUGE. Atleast the dungeons aren't random. and are completely hand crafted. ( Daggerfall was good but the dungeons were the same only slightly different textures)

I dont have time to play some huge, sweeping epic rpg at the moment, so even if Morrowind is totally awesome I wont be buying it :(

I suspect a majority of retail games are bought by parents for their children, which serves to explain why the sims, harry potter, and the well-advertised dungeon siege have had such successfull sales. I regret to say that many teenage and young adult gamers probably obtain a lot of their software illegaly. I am aware that even people who work in the game industry download pirated games created by other companies.

Hopefully you're talking about the EA games, and not The Sims, or you're ripe for a bitchslapping.

goauld the only reason the younger people get the games pirated is cos they cant afford to buy the games.
you will notice that alot of us older people DO have legit copies of the games that we play (those wortrh paying for).

hmm why not get Morrowind for the PC? The developers are releasing a development kit, so there will be heaps more stuff available for the PC version.
