ET Online have done a small interview with the next Anakin Skywalker, Hayden Christensen. The interview gives a glimpse of how Anakin might turn to the dark side, and whether you will see any of it in the upcoming Star Wars II movie.

The NY Post reports that James Bond chiefs want Catherine Zeta-Jones as their first female 007. She's already screen-tested to be leading lady in "Beyond the Ice", the 20th Bond movie due out next year and is Pierce Brosnan's fourth and final. The plot's about a villan (Kevin Spacey) who holds the world ransom with some "green house" weapon. Should Zeta-Jones sign on after Bond 20, she'll end 007's 38-year male domination.

EON Magazine has a great feature on the creation of the CG effects in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Here's a snippet:

But creating a CG movie is one thing -- photo-realism is quite another. While the technology exists to create dinosaurs, asteroids and even sinking ships, wouldn't a living, breathing human that can fool the eye of even the most cynical audience member require a STAR TREK-like mega computer? Animation Director Andy Jones, the digital effects artist responsible for such blockbusters as GODZILLA and TITANIC, didn't seem to think so.

and now that I think about it, as cult as bond is they should know that doing something like that would be a huge risk of destroying a fan base.

Yeah, it would truly suck, and probably the end of the franchise as we know it. On the other hand, Kevin Spacey as the villian in the next bond should totally rawk :)
