FASA, the company that brought the world Battletech and Shadowrun, is closing its doors after April. All is not lost for Battletech fans, as Wizkids (founded by Jordan Weisman, a battletech founder) will be taking over the reigns of the Battletech universe along with the Ral Partha portion of the company. I don't know if this will affect the release of more Battletech games by Microsoft, but it shouldn't as there was a 5 year contract for the license. Looks like Shadowrun gets the big axe though, as most pen&paper RPG's are losing focus with today's youth.
