Version 2.0 of the popular (at least in the USA :) Gridiron mod for Quake 3 is now available - check out the website over at http://www.planetquake.com/gridiron/ for more details. Its got some new maps, improved weapons, better ball physics and an improved UI. Grab it locally from the QGL now. Might have to crank up a Gridiron server at the LAN, methinks.

there is one single reason why these mods arent popular here to, no servers.

I know you cant run servers for everything but someoe mentioned a frontline force server possibly going up? wtf, its a half-life mod? Get a decent engine up ya :P

/me thinks qgl/ausgamers/optus should host more q3 mod server's as there are some dayom good mod's out atm
that like own ra3 i only played q3 as far as fps go but after a solid year of just q3 i want new stuff, new servers and just more s*** to keep gaming interestingmore servers of all types means more choice and more choice means less chumps on servers so anyone with spare bandwidth should really start playing with the idea of more then just the two games and there
