Well, after Scary also did it, I thought I might finish off the news ticker. Props to Stomped for being the first site (I've seen) to implement it like this. All you have to do to add it is:

- Right click on your task bar
- Click "New Toolbar" (option only available on some systems - old Win95 and NT installs won't have it - I think you can install IE5 and it will enable this feature for you)
- In the Location field, enter: http://www.qgl.org/ticker
- You can then resize the ticker and move it around your screen (ie, place it at the top, in a separate bar, whatever.

We'll definitely be making some more options for this later (anyone have any feature requests? Maybe tracking players on the games server or something?), but for now this should keep you busy.

Update: The code for this was originally done by the leet DHTML guys over at Dynamic Drive. They have a stack of good stuff over there, go and patronize their website and use their code. I've also added a "ticker" link to the QGL submenu on the left with some more information.

actually, this little thing is damn cool. it will be awesome with some extra features (option for latest forum thread? featured clan site of the day? etc).
