Well registrations have been huge yet again for the next installment of the qgl lan. We have increased the player limit to 280 due to popular demand, and can go upto 300 so if you want to come and have as yet not registered go and do so now.

We have the first qgl RA3 comp which is set to be huge, the counterstrike comp, no leagues or play in two weeks, the best team will be decided on the day! We will be running 4 or 5 high end dedicated servers that will meet all your server requirements, if you would like to request a specific server to be run please ask and we can set it up. Also if you plan on bringing servers they will need to be placed inside the admin area, so ensure you check them in.

We will have a Playstation 2 running on the day and are planning on running a DOA2 comp later in the night, then we may go dvd action for those that want a break from gaming and want to chill in the grandstands and watch a movie on one of the projectors.

The Dreamcast will be there by popular demand, with more Tennis and all sorts of games that will be projected on another projector. Players coming to play from all over Queensland and New South Wales for the event.

Space is limited, have a chance to lan with 300 of the best players around and register for qgl. There will be game giveaways and some door prizes up for grabs too!

Dreamcast!!!! means more Tennis Luvin and a bit of that Ultimate Fighting. For the Tennis THAT MEANS YOU Aurora!!!!!! As for the fighting, well LETS GET IT ON!!

I'll make sure I bring along Ultimate Fighting, it seemed to be popular last time :) Any other requests? Dont think I'll be bringing along too many games this time, just the ones people really want (so far Tennis, Soul Cal, and Ultimate Fighting).

A MechWarrior4 team attrition or CTF serv0r could be good for a blast ! But I guess it depends on how many thooks are gunna have a go. There is still endless QUAKE with Obes n Jim I spose ;o)

please tell me why qgl isnt goin for two days this time?

cause two days is too long to have every lan, the hall costs twice as much to hire, and some of us have better things to do than play pc games for a whole weekend

Mainly the cost and effort involved in running it is so unbelievably huge it would warp your fragile mind if I were to try and impart exactly how significant the numbers involved were.

Hell yeah, throw up QUAKE KOMBAT SERVER, i finally got quakeforge running on my system and goddamn it looks sweet.

I'm up for some predator tag in AVP as well, i'll have to 'borrow' the software of course.

That goes for Mech4 as well, gimmie the software and i'll play =)

I have both of those games, and you certainly may 'borrow' them. Might have to convince someone to burn Mech 4 for you, there is no crack out to my knowledge.

How about a dedicated rune server? I haven't played it for a while, but I'd be up for some hack-and-slash rune action.

i used that clan management thingo to stick ya in aot ... hopefully them admin types are still using it for seating arrangement. If not the usual method of brute force n ignorance should do the trick ;o)
