RTS fans will be happy with today's Command & Conquer 4 video, which shows the game's changed nature through management of Tiberium, thanks to key members of the dev team divulging the design decisions behind the game's changed nature of resource management.

As a controlled resource now, and not just scattered wherever, Tiberium management becomes a key strategic point of difference in the game, especially during multiplayer, as explained in this five minute video.

It only took them a few years/games to realise that no one likes resource harvesting any more.

I feel like I should maybe finish c&c3 and play the expansion, just to get up to date on the story if nothing else, since this seems to be following directly on from it. I only ever finished c&c3 as GDI, not as NOD, so missed out on a lot of Kane awesomeness :(

The units in this game seem pretty s***.

is it just me, or does harvesting tiberium seem redundant if the whole planet is overwhelmed by it?
