First announcement is usually October. Keep your eye on the Triple J page, they are usually the first ones to announce.
Them Crooked Vultures will be on it, mark my words. If you look at the dates of their club shows, it fits in really well with the expected dates of the BDO tour. |

The Facebook page isn't official, it's a fan-made group.

Muse Powderfinger Lily Allen Eskimo Joe Groove Armada Grinspoon The Mars Volta Ladyhawke Dizzee Rascal Karnivool Peaches The Temper Trap Kasabian Midnight Juggernauts Rise Against Magic Dirt Mastodon Lisa Mitchell The Horrors Bluejuice Calvin Harris Kisschasy The Decemberists Tame Impala Girl Talk Thats from the TripleJ website... and its exactly the same as the one above isn't it? Alright... I'll go to see muse and powderfinger. The Mars Volta should also be good, never seen them before. I think its still lacking a big headliner... so I'll be interested to see the second announcement. |

So much for the hypocrite slut's retirement.
Lily Allen is not a headliner and should be down the bottom of the list. |

It was their bass player who died. But they had been touring recently with a replacement bassist while Dean was sick, so they had already begun planning for it.

Alt_F4, that's f***ing classic! Matt Bellamy on drums, lol. And drummer singing, miraculously, like Matt Bellamy. Hahahaha. Sucked in to the show for being f***ers. Man, that's one of the best paybacks I have ever seen. Kudos to them. Bellamy is classically trained musician who recognises they have to have good backing tracks because of the complexity of their synthesized sounds, but no f***ing way would he lip-sync. Awesome. |

You've nailed it. It's a lip-sync for TV, and they're f***ing about.

Yeah, they have the singer/guitarist/pianist on drums, drummer on bass/vocals, bassist on guitar/keyboard.
They obviously had to do the show but didn't want to lip sync. So yeah, pretty much a 'f*** you' to the execs of the show. |
