parklife was way overcrowded when I went two years back. SFD tix are $121!!

they used to be ok, when I was ok with being crammed into an area that just wasn't meant to hold that many people
and paying $12 for a single drink etc

they aren't really about the music though... they are about lots of young people all crowding together all hooped up on goofballs. definitely a young people's game imo. usually the sound quality is pretty s***... especially if it's an open stage with a bit of a wind blowing. i got sick of dealing with all the yuckiness associated with big festivals... s***ty toilets, fkn queues, drink tickets, horrible food & expensive drinks. bah n humbug i tells yas! :D the only outdoor festy i've been to that had kick-arse sound was earthcore'05... fkn cained sound wise!

I'm still coughing up dust. Wore a bandana over my face towards the end but it didn't help much.

Sounds of Spring was good, not too crowded and the stages were a good distance from eachother. Butterfingers were my highlight.

RNA put on a good day for sounds of spring.. Hadn't seen iheartHiroshima before and i was pleasantly surprised.. Went along to little birdy and was wowed by katy.. Caught a few other bits and pieces, tex perkins at the end was a really chilled way to close the night

horribly organised. they need to find a new venue or sell less tickets (neither will happen). probably not worth the money.

still had a rad day with mates though. saw cool kids, lady sov, bit of mstrkrft, bit of crystal castles, yacht club djs, metric and the rapture.

i thought it was pretty good

it wasnt a bad day but the s*** with the riverstage was a fkn joke!, it was like a stampeed when they finally let people through. so once i was in i stayed untill empire of the sun were finished. but yes as others have said they sold waaaay to many tickets and organised it poooorly, i wont be back next yr i dont think
