Watch TV for the first time in ages and started watching Season 1 of East Bound & Down and i have to say its a pretty bloody funny show. He got some amazing 1 liners. "I play real sports. I aint trying to be the best at Exercising".

After watching that clip I'm sold. Hope it's like that all the way thru.

My general rule of thumb is that if a show is done by HBO then it's going to be awesome, that clip just re-enforces it :D

east bound and down is a really weird show.

There was only 6 episodes or something like that and it was basically made to be self contained. A lot of the show relies on some really flat or awkward scenes so the zingers really pop - but like people have already said there are some really great lines.

Its a really good show but its not for everyone, I think a lot of people would outright dislike it (and from the way QGL acts half the time I think most here wont like it) but I enjoyed it.

I didn't think so.

I was mostly just referring to the way a lot of QGL commentary on movies like inglorious bastards is "too much dialogue and scenes too slow" - east bound and down has some very low key scenes which might seem boring to the same people.

Looks alright, acquiring first few eps.
