Some of you may remember the lego batmobile I did ages ago, well it's turned into a bit of an addiction so I thought I'd share some of my other creations while other people share their more academic hobbies :|

I create stuff at work all day on a computer, but it's a nice break to build something with your hands and have some physical at the end of it all and it's quite relaxing too.

Dude, why havent you got yourself together a line of these.. say an army one (blackhawk chopper or something) maybe a navy or something boat looking dude and cashed in from lego.. you'll be kicking yourself in 5years when all the kiddies are playing with LEGOBOTS or something.. That'd be the lego version of transformers i reckon unless they're still doing those bionicle things..

a desert camo soldier is next on my list, maybe... they're still doing those s***ty bionicle things though unfortunately.

I second Boxhead's suggestion. Contact Lego with your creations and pursue them till they create a line of your creations. Make sure your contract specifies that you'll receive a large chunk of international sales.

Do you just use any old pieces you can find or do you make the pieces yourself?

Looks to be a bit of everything there - the red Spaceman minifig is from the original Space series if memory serves me correctly!

I don't actually "make" any pieces, though I did paint the camo batmobile one with vinyl dye. It's mainly new pieces from bought sets, mixed with some of my old Lego from when I was a kid.

As for pursuing it with Lego, I doubt they'd bother so I couldn't be arsed.

And as for Rza, my wife is due with our first child next week and the baby says hi...

Nah I only used that lego program for the batmobile, haven't used it since. Not sure how much it'd cost to make each of the bots but at a guess it'd be around $75-$100, they probably stand around 30cm each.

Frank and Alan were the last 2 I made so I think I've improved as I go, I keep getting bigger too as I go :P
