Topic: Where to buy 2 min noodles in bulk?

Ok weird request, and one I don't have a lot of time to research on my own unfortunately, so any help appreciated.

We want to buy a present for a girl at work whose birthday it is tomorrow, who LIVES off noodles. Are there any shops (preferably southside) where I could buy like a whole box of noodles? Preferably the ones in their own cup where you just pour the hot water in? Would ALDI do that sort of thing?

Gracias.

Well yes, a Costco would be great. Unfortunately not an option :(

Cheers guys. Not sure if I will be able to get to Sunnybank tonight, but will try.

Tell her to get better dietary habits for her birthday. Those things are terrible for you and they taste terrible.

Mi Goreng noodles are the shiz. We buy them in the boxes of 30 too, though we haven't got any at the moment. I'd best get some.

Make sure to check the used by dates if buying from an asian market. I've been stung a few times.

Bah, you guys should buy plain noodles and just get some fried noodle seasoning, chili sauce, and sweet soy sauce. It works out cheaper, and there's less wasteful packaging.

why not just make your own noodles and store them, also make your own sauces to go with them too - for that extra feeling of achievement

no, im serious

All good, went to Coles and just grabbed a mixed box. Unfortunately couldn't get an intact box, so will just have to wrap it up somehow.

Just don't eat too much of them. When I finished at uni and moved out of college I lived with my parents for 8 months before I moved into my own place. In the couple of years at college I got used to having meals prepared etc so when I moved home I was so lazy/cbf making lunch etc.

So I basically spent 8 months living on mi goreng for lunch. Before that time I had NEVER EVER had to worry about my weight, I had the craziest metabolism, in fact it was quite annoying when I tried to bulk up for the gym. But then 8 months of mi goreng I no s*** gained so much weight. When I moved out and started cooking properly for myself, it wasn't exactly healthy, but I cut out the mi goreng... I shed all the weight in a couple of months.

I now only resort to mi goreng if I reaaaally can't be f***ed cooking or if i'm all out of everything else.

You have been warned! :D
