Is this possible?
IE if I have my user AC in AD with 5 different alias', IE josh@poo.wee and josh@bums.bum is there any way to send from bums.bum without changing the default SMTP in AD, and without adding a POP3 account or similar to send from? Secondly, similar thing but on a blackberry, assuming one is setup with the BES, can I send from another alias, or does it need another account alltogether to send from TIA |

I changed the fake email addresses you used so that when this thread gets farmed by spammers, they don't add those (real domains that belong to us!) to their spam lists and increase the spam we alreayd deal with

As far as I know (Exchange 2003) it's not possible with standard config, I had the same problem as well. I know sucks right?
There's a third party software that you can buy that runs on the client I think that'll allow them to do it. ChooseFrom website http://www.ivasoft.biz/choosefrom.shtml http://hellomate.typepad.com/exchange/2003/07/choosing_your_s.html http://www.msexchange.org/software/Misc.-Exchange-server-software/ChooseFrom/Comments/ I haven't used but from my previous research most people just say you'll need third part s/ware and this one was mentioned a lot... |

Pretty sure you will need the second account to send from. I could be wrong because we don't use BES (we use BIS)... |

GG Exchange and it's s***ness. I end up creating a distribution list with the bums.bum email address, giving send as rights to my AD account and adding myself as a member. You can then select this in the 'from' field from Outlook.
