in short: optus released new plans with the $59 and $79 plans having unlimited national text, but really shoddy call rates

the thing is, currently I spend about 60 dollars a month JUST on text alone. Is it worthwhile switching to a post paid plan with unlimited text (above). Or is there any alternatives?

Optus plans are pretty good. I have their $79 cap and never go over. just don't use their blackberry plans cos they suck hard.

yeah i pretty much only text, unless i'm ringing around for a car part or something

easily do $60 - $70 odd in texts, i know guys that used to do way more than that in a month

i get like $350 odd dollars in calls and text on this 3 plan i'm on and i still only ever spend $70 a month of it, so for most normal people that $49 cap wouldn't be that bad, but that 1 minute blocks is pretty dodgey
