I had my speakers up and there is an ad on QGL that goes "blip blip" and it sounds like what happens my computer s***s itself.
This is an official internet complaint.

is this the barcode scanning one? I've seen it on joystiq and kotaku now and it's f***ing annoying, you can't turn it off either. On both counts it actually forced me to close the page completely.

Im getting very pissed off with Web Sites that have Flash Ads running at full volume when you enter the site and you cant turn them down/off.

in the meantime, plz remember we depend on ads to keep all this stuff running; if you don't mind copping an annoying one every now and then it really helps us out. we work our asses off to make sure that they're only annoying once a day tops so if there's anything happening more than 1x a day, let me know directly and I'll take it up with our ad agency
