Wow. Another example of a crazy person. I can't believe the girl survived.

The clicky
The other clicky

"A young child has been found near the bridge on the ground ... and has been taken to the banks of the river and is in the care of paramedics and they are currently trying to resuscitate the child," Mr Bentley said earlier.

"The child suffered fairly extensive injuries and the paramedics spent some time trying to resuscitate the child.

"I understand the police boat was used to get the child from the water to the Yarraville side."

Bloody terrible. Hope the get the dickface ASAP.

He threw the child into the waters below and then drove off, they said.

Police were investigating how the incident happened.

Umm, he threw her off the bridge?

Ah, they updated the story since I read it. And added Google StreetView - how nice...

Seriously though, ice has to be behind it or what. It's the first day of school too, wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I have no doubt the little monster was totally deserving of being hurled off the bridge.

Father of five kills family after losing job

That's unbelievable. I'd say "only in America" but clearly it's happening in Australia too. At the end of that article:
On Christmas Eve, a man dressed as Father Christmas killed his ex-wife and eight of her relatives before taking his own life.

Alot of people will say he deserves to die, i dont reckon though.

He deserves to live to old age, with the guilt he will hopefully feel everyday that he killed his daughter.

And hopefully he will get some ass raping in prison, thats about the best punishement i can think of.

I don't know, I'd rather have a person die and not waste money rotting away in a cell where he gets food water and a roof over his head. The money could be used for... say preventing this type of thing from happening again.

I doubt he will feel guilt.

I had to go in for jury duty last year and I had a particularly heinous case of incest sexual abuse of daughter by father over a period of 10 years.

The guy being prosecuted didn't give one iota of a s***. I couldn't believe it. He knew what he was doing - the reality is that he was just so f***ed up he just did whatever he felt like, whenever he felt like, with zero concern for consequence or anything. Just a straight-up nut.

When he and his defense lawyer were selecting the jury he didn't reject anyone - including a primary school teacher and a social worker - both of whom I was talking to while waiting to be selected, and both utterly disgusted by the long list of horrible crimes.

What amused me (in a black humour way) was that his defense lawyer did not try to protect him at all. It was a lady, and her attitude screamed, "I hope this f***er spends a long time in jail."

I don't doubt for a minute that a bloke who is prepared to throw a 5yo off a bridge is a 100% verifiable nut, and I hope he spends a long long time behind bars.

it takes a special kind of retard to throw a kid from a bridge, theres no way a perfectly sane person just does something like that

Except if you want to have a decent appeals process (so you don't send an innocent person to die), it ends up costing more.

Man, some seriously f***ed up people in the world. I just can't even begin to understand how you could ever commit such a hateful crime, especially to your own children who you are supposed to love and protect. Just disgusting to think that there really are people out there who are capable of doing s*** like that

Said that he wasnt mentally fit to go to the Family Court yet he had control of 3 kids ? Somebody dropped the ball here.

Divorce + Wife + Family Court + Kids = Fathers Mental breakdown.
Not an excuse but prolly the reason.

most of us live our lives trying to gain power over others. often without even realising it.

QGL readers: consider carefully and what lies in your hands should you be lucky to have have such a responsibility laid upon your shoulders either personally or professionally.

the quality of the lives of others under your command can and will be decided on your thoughts and actions.

No wonder his wife was getting a divorce. Issues, much.

It's sad that at the end of the day the victims are the two sons and the wife. How are those boys supposed to go to school - especially the seven year old. Terrible.
