I just finished watching the first 3 episodes and it's looking very interesting with some nice surprises. Lets just hope it continues and doesn't wind up like the abysmal Season 6.

I'm very much liking the way things are going at the moment though :)

This season has a good plot line but the President can NOT act. She is so not convincing. Also, in alot of her scenes, she and her advisor have these short 'recap conversations' where they sum up everything that has happened, is happening and the consequences. It's so annoying to be repeatedly told the storyline so far. It's like the producers don't think we have the capacity to remember things from one episode to the next.

I've got a couple of eps but haven't bothered to watch them yet. So is it the same as every other season with Jack saving the world and is there another mole in CTU or whatever place he works for now? If so I don't think I'll bother.

Yeah, I'm really liking the new season so far, even though the new president is a bit on the lame side, Tony is back, and his awesome more than makes up for any shortcomings.

Meh. They repeat plot ideas every season. CTU had at least 2 moles every season. Don't mess with the formula.

How boring would the show be if they actually listened to jack instead of thinking he is the bad guy every season. He has saved the world six times you'd think they would have a bit of faith.

Producers have said in the past, that silent clock = death. This is the first exception.

(Tony's 'clock' in season 5 was not silent, and this was cited as a clue to his survival chances)

Technically, she did still die though, she was dead when they found her and they had to bring her back. So technically they didn't violate any of their quiet clock rules or whatever :P

Lucky jack and tony shot those dudes, otherwise it would have been a crowded drive back for the terrorists.

Yeah, sucks that they killed Bill off, now theres no one to pull strings to get Chloe out of FBI custody, Jacks going to have to go in there and bust her out.

I was hoping that Tony was going to go covert on the Whitehouse when the president was taken hostage rather than having the FBI raid the place. I'm also still trying to work out how one of the daddo brothers managed to end up on the show, especially playing a role like the vice president, ah well, at least it was only 2 eps. If he comes back for more, maybe Jack will kill him off.

But really, if the white house was taken, would it actually be the FBI to go in, or would it become a military op?

Raven its always the FBI, even in Australia if they have a crime problem they cant handle they call the FBI. FBI is everywhere.
