Rockstar are prepping for imminent PC launch of Grand Theft Auto 4 and have sent along a couple more of the machinima videos they've been busy creating to promote the games biggest new feature - the video editor.

Check out The Choice and NYC right here in the AusGamers video library.

Grand Theft Auto 4 for the PC hits Australian shelves this Wednesday, December 3 2008.

Out of interest - is anyone going to buy this who has ALREADY bought and/or finished the game on console?

I was thinking about it but can't justify it; I didn't enjoy the game enough to want to play it again on PC despite the superiorness of the platform. I would like to try multiplayer though but not prepared to drop the cash on the chance that it's fun; I guess I'll wait and see what people are saying about it.

I would be interested in some PC multiplayer but not enough to buy another copy of it. I finished the SP campaign just for the sake of finishing it. SP became a real grind with very little variation in the missions.

Wanted to pick this up on steam to get Vice City too (even thoiugh I already have it), disappointed it wasn't for sale in Oz until I saw the comments floating around everywhere today - seems like this game has massive problems ATM. Will wait and see, hope they fix it up - I love my PC GTA games and the video editor looked extremely cool.

Is it illegal to download a game you already own on another platform? In this case for example, downloading GTA on the PC when you own it on the xbox360.

Yes it is, even a DVD to DVD (or CD) copy.

I agree with E.T.

Think I got 45% through SP before I got bored of it.
Definetly a contender for most overhyped game of the year.

Yep, I was about the same. I got about 50% of the way through before getting almost completely bored. Only finished it out of grim determination and the hope that surely there was something else to it. Bit of a shame really.

Apparently the PC version is extremely buggy to the point that Valve are giving refunds to irate customers.

Whoever is bored with theirs then just sell me your copy!

I only want it cause it'll go sick with my new surround sound system.

The best part of the game IMO was the bank robbery mission somewhere a few hours in that was a recreation of the HEAT bank scene. I've not really attempted to play this since mabye a month after I got it.

Yeah I heard that too. Not something you hear very often. Funny how you don't hear much of that in reviews that are coming out now with, IMO, much more realistic scores. It's a good game but never deserved the 10/10 it got.

There is no such thing as a perfect game if you ask me.
