got a problem i cant work out, im playing cs at this cafe, all the pc's are the same, monitors, gfx cards everything, on some pc's the fps will do 100fps flat and on some i cant get it over 60, ive tried all the in-game commands so im pretty sure it would be something to do with a gfx card setting although im not sure. they have nvideo gforce 9600 GT cards... i looked in the display settings and could change the screen reso to 75 hz if i lower the reso but this doesnt effect the in-game fps. Any ideas?

chances are it'll be to do with the in-game graphics settings - quality, resolution etc. Possibly different brand cards with different memory/core clock speeds?

Cant disagree with that... q3 is the best game in the world, ie. based on skill.

60fps with Vsync on >>>>>>>>> 100fps without Vsync on.

maybe the fps is limited to 60?
