wii fit will give her a moisty, unless she's fat and takes it as you signaling she needs to lose weight

present for her.. i like games that require skill and practice.. wii is aimed at mainstream noobs who cant get good at mouse + keyboard games.

Plus she can use wii when im using pc.. she's a video editor so has a mac.

What do you actually do with the wii fit?

Looks like you just stand on that thing and bend your knees.

all sorts of s***

yoga, step class type of thing, body balance type of stuff

it measures your weight, you tell it your height and it works out your bmi

then you tell it a goal of weight you want to lose in an amount of time

Woah, technology sure has come a long way to be able to do those calculations on the fly.

my wife approves of WiiFit

She also likes good old WiiSports, SSX Blur and Big Brain Academy. Not so into Zelda or Metroid or Resident Evil 4 :P

Yeah, you just stand on the wii fit board and shift weight from one leg to the other. Except for the ones where you have to use the wiimote too.

BMI isn't exactly E=MC2.
It measures your weight, and you input your height.
With those two bits of data its simply weight/(height squared)

Microsoft has just issued a press release announcing the *NEW* New XBox Experience will stream your BMI calculation straight into your gamertag.

It's not exactly accurate either, my BMI is something stupid like 32 when in reality if I was to achieve 25 (average?) I would be dead because I'd be insanely underweight for my height

f*** yer, tall people are descriminated against!

ive been grossly overweight since i was 18 according to the bmi charts

admittedly its probably a little true now, even when i was mega skinny and looked unhealty, i was still overweight

Google says BMI above 30 makes you obes but that makes no sense because only obes is obes.

It's true though.. i worked at david jones selling wii's to the weirdest people. Mature aged adults who wanted one for when their friends came over etc. It just appeals to anyone cos it has the 'you wave your hands' factor.

ps. I got a LCD :P / Yes gf is a noob. (i get enough flak from her for being a gamer :P).

Wii fit will keep her entertained for hours (and probably you also)
also mario and sonic olympics.
if she's a noob then the simple sports pack that ship with the Wii will also suffice.....
