Any ideas when this will be coming to aus? Read a lot of reviews about it and pretty convinced about it but can't find a release date in aus and my contract is up in jan.

Despite owning an iPhone, this review makes me want a G1 lol. Theyre not quite as thick as I thought. And the touchscreen looks fairly good.

Basically the keypad. I used an iphone for a few weeks, thought that was long enough to get used to it and still hated it.

As long as I remember, I've always been a phone tech hater
I Always thought that all I need a mobile for is it to just make a call.
I'm round PC's 24x7 with net connections so access not from PC is bollocks

My other half got me a very early xmas present while she was out shopping for and considering an iPhone
-short story, I scored a Samsung Omnia an holy crap!
Once you get used to the whole stylus interface stuff an it's vague inacuracies on touch (depending on your screen layout), it's pretty freakin cool :)

Wireless, Bluetooth, Registered DivX player (great playback quality).

When connected via wifi, device does get warm/hot to touch after while. No biggie, it's a novelty or point of rescue (you decide) sorta thing.

Camera is amazingly clear, Haven't been able to do a vid call (still trying to see the value in that for the most part). Does 2560 x 1920 (5mb pixel)

Utilises the qwerty input as default tho an be changed (haven't been bothered as yet) and screen is able to resize (once you figure out how to) between portrait/landscape.

Comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 an as far as I can tell thus far, not a bad lil device.
