Hodge, Katich, Noffke and Cullen should be interesting... To be honest, I'm not sure why Hodge wasn't considered for the test team? He's still playing isn't he?

They boasted about the proper HD stream before the start of the match... the audio was f***ing terrible!
The picture looked way better but the background field music/crowd noise drowned out the commentators/mic'ed up players and you could barely hear them. Yet on the regular channel it was fine. |

Did you try turning down the main volume and turning up the center speaker? Fairly sure on 10 5.1 the commentary audio is out of the center speaker only. |

Did anyone see Natalie Bassingwhatevers performance? It was so bad i couldn't look away. Carried by the backup singer.
Also the guy playing guitar wasn't actually doing anything. |

Australia got PWND by has beens.
Aussie Cricket is in trouble. Luckily we got NZ next who are so bad they got bowled out by NSW reserve grade side. But South Africa might beat us. Looking forward to some competitive Cricket this summer unlike the Hidings the Aussies have been dishing out last few years. I for one welcome our New Curry Lords of Cricket. |

Hmm having played cricket at a somewhat competitive level myself, it's really stupid to judge any team or player on 20/20 games, especially one single game.

I wouldnt say the all-stars team was has beens, they had langer, gilchrist, hodge and katich, and the best of the state players. yes langer and gilchrist are retired, but only recently and were still pretty good when they retired.

Watched the game on TV the other night. Besides the crappy sound and rather poor performance, I'm just damn happy to have warmer weather and have the season kicking off. Not a game I've grown up with, but become a big fan. |
