This is the first Laser TV review I've seen, and it looks good. They comment on better colour reproduction when compared to a 60" Kuro. Only problem is, LaserTV really means "Laser Rear Projection". |

OOh sounds very promising , and it's going to throw a spanner in the LCD v Plasma debate having a third party involved but they all sound very close to each other. (Spook where are you )

i think you'll find its LaserVue, not LaserView.
glad they are working on new tech, dont recon it will be seen in many family homes too soon though, so no biggy. plasma still wins. |

What's wrong with this? It's not going to wear out like normal bulbs because it's laser beam and the quality of the light source won't degrade all that much compare normal DLP and dare I say it, plasma. It may be slightly larger in thickness compare to plasma/LCD which I'm sure they'll slim it down in future gen. Personally I'm pretty much sold on the Laservue and really looking forward to the 2nd gen so they'll be more affordable to everyday joe like me. Viewing angle on DLP isn't great sure but how watches their TV from the top standing up? I know I don't. last edited by Opec at 09:47:51 21/Oct/08 |
