As well as ramping up our video content, we've also decided to add podcasts, beginning with our interview with Epic Games' Cliff Bleszinski in the lead up to the November release of Gears of War 2.

During the interview Bleszinski touches on elements of new technology, fleshing out the overall Gears story, how important it is to keep weapons balanced and empowering players, before we throw a manifest of questions at him as compiled by your comments in our "Questions For Cliffy B" news post.

To stream the interview, just hit this link, you'll also find a download link from the supplied page
to grab the file as an mp3.

I asked CliffB a question.

Also the podcast had horrible sound. CliffB was too low and you were too loud and grating.

Podcasts suck, as if sit there and listen to people talk slow and muffled and stuff. Can we have a text version pretty please?!

The podcast was horrible, every thing was already said before the user questions section was decent but it was too short.

Well, I'm going to go against the grain and say I enjoyed listening to it, gave me something to listen to while I'm stuck at work instead of being at home playing games of my own.

And I didn't really have much problem hearing everything, though I guess I am listening to it on headphones.

just had a listen to this, well done steve.

i listen to a couple of IGN podcasts (beyond, three red lights, command prompt, gamescoop) and the 1up podcast 1up yours.

as a comparison i think the sound quality is a little off as someone else suggested. also you should make them available through itunes.

also a little ausgamers audio sting at the start could be good! like a jingle or something

d0mino, have you listened to the Clint Hocking one? The sound quality is much better.
