Dell 30" are great if you really want to spend that kind of cash.

a 27" dell is half the price of a 30" ($1800!@#) - you gotta really want those three inches. 2560 x 1600 would be awesome though...

You might want to consider an Apple monitor too

I have had my 27" for over 1 year now... actually paid $1200 back then... and its awesome... i would not want any bigger because i do sit quite close to it... i have also used as a TV from time to time as well... it has been awesome....

The only issue i had with 30" is res is too great for most video cards if you play games and the i would have to move my head while using it because it was too big...

BTW i would recommend Dell (LCD and that it!)
