A playable demo showcasing the blocky action of LEGO Batman has been released:

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Robin, as well as bonus hero Nightwing to fight Gotham City’s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Two Face, Bane, Clayface, Poison Ivy and many more. The criminals have broken out of Arkham Asylum and are set to wreak havoc on the city.

Game is fun, decent amount of gameplay too, day or two for all the levels and tonnes of unlocks. Much more fun than lego indiana jones, probably as good or maybe better than lego star wars.

I was really disappointed at how short Indianna Jones was. Good game, but over far too quickly. Completed it in one day and haven't touched it since

Played this tonight, was quite fun. I like the suit element as they provide a distinguishing yet realistic (for the genre) element. It's $74 at JB, go go go. I feel this game will be completed sooner rather than later much like Indiana Jones though.

It looks like it could be a bit of fun, but its hard to justify spending $75 on this when theres so much awesome s*** coming out over the next few weeks =\
