But a simple back button is way better. Most editors simply go back to the post when you hit Update anyway.

I can't believe you can't just use the back button?
It's probably trivial to add though |

Yeah I know but its just kinda clunky. Can't the update just redirect back to the thread like most forums?
I know this is some pretty advanced s*** (lol not really) but it'd be useful. |

Is there some kind of symbol on a thread that tells you if youve posted in that thread ?

Is there some kind of symbol on a thread that tells you if youve posted in that thread ?No - but a feature that is coming before the one requested in this thread is a 'subscribed threads' page - so if you post in a thread and you care about the responses, you can subscribe and get a list of all the threads that you're subscribed to. This will come to ausgamers.com forums first though |

I'd rather see the SEARCH feature improved. Its clunky and ugly. I know your holding good things back on us here.

Yeh I saw you mention that before, what is up with it, it just doesn't play? yes, but it fixes a bunch of issues. the problem is with the .js not detecting it as being 8/9 or above. |

I'd rather see the SEARCH feature improved. Its clunky and ugly. I know your holding good things back on us here.on the todo. I'm keen to get it done, but frankyl I use google for searching the forums and I can find just about everything. We have a great system written, just needs to be plugged in, basiscally. I could use the AusGamer forum but there's so much bloat above the forum tableThe 'bloat' was carefully designed to be as small as possible. It's only a handful of pixels more than what is above the QGL forum. This is intentional. It's actually a lot more useful too as it has all the feature dealies and news snippets. f*** having to look through different categories for threads. The 'General Chat' forum contains all threads. You don't need to do anything but read this one forum. It appears to be confusing so we might rename it to 'latest threads' or something and have a new general chat forum. |
