Capcom have released a new trailer from Bionic Commando, the multiplatform action title gearing up to reset the classic franchise. Not to be confused with Bionic Commando-Rearmed (the graphically updated arcade-style online delivered game), Bionic Commando is a modern third-person shooter with all the thrills.

Today's aptly titled Evolution trailer shows the progression of Bionic Commando from the original NES/Arcade title, to Rearmed, to the new game. Check out our Bionic Commando game page for more screenshots and media from this one.

That actually looks bitchin', I like the spidey-stylez swinging combined with Scorpion-stylez grapple killing

Wow... for some reason I was ignoring this game cause it sounded cheesy... but this looks pretty epic and fun! And I remember playing the original down at David jones on the in-store SNES back in the eighties.

The NES original was the first game I got on my NES (appart from the Mario/Duck hunt that was bundled with it) and I LOVED it. Great fun but I remember it being quite challenging. I just hope they avoid turning this game into a crappy platform jumper where missing a platform in a massive sequence of platforms will result in death and having to start over. I'm so sick of jumping puzzles. I guess the grapple arm would add a refreshing element though.

It was, but it debuted on the arcade.
