For those that don't have their µTorrent client inform them of new updates, a new version of µTorrent is out! After a year of development µTorrent 1.8 has been released, and sports a massive list of changes from 1.7.

You can grab the almost overwhelmingly gigantic client here (260kB), from the µTorrent site.

If you like automation, and want to have your favourite regular files download while you're at work or wherever, you might want to read the RSS tutorial if you haven't already set it up.

Nice, the change list is huge, but a lot of it is behind the scenes. Over all a great update. These are the kind of updates I like to see, improvements without the bloat. Unlike some programs adobe.

They've had that for ages, you just had to hold shift to do it (there was nowhere in the app that told you how to).

Step 1. Don't call it mew-torrent. Even though it might be more technically correct, even the creator doesn't call it that. He says it's either You-torrent or microtorrent.

why'd he put a mu in front of it then?! I always thought it was formally called mutorrent as a sort of joke so non-hardcore maths nerds kept calling it the wrong thing

micro means small, whereas other torrent clients were huge.
