Hi guys I just got back from 3 months in the USA and I am looking for a place to share until I can get up enough cash to head back over to the US. The reason I am asking on here is because I need a good net connection to keep in touch with my other half and I know all of you love your net :).

I would be looking at roughly 6 months before trying to head back over there so obviously I would need a place for that period. I should be working afternoon shift but seen as I am a heavy sleep that really shouldn't be a factor for me anyway. I would preffer somewhere either close to the city or south of it given that I'll be working in the wacol area and don't want to be driving anymore than say 30-40 minutes to work.

To those of you that I have known in the past a big hello out to you all, I hope you are doing well.

Anyway if anyone knows of someone looking for a room mate to share rent and general living costs ie power, phone and net let me know.

I was over in the US seeing my gf. I spent the entire time in Arkansas which is aparently redneck central, although they all seemed pretty decent to me. It's a nice place and the people were all very friendly and polite, even more so than many of us.

I am pretty much just looking for a room and a shower with obviously access to the net. I still play alot of Wow so the connection is pretty important as that is how I keep in touch with her using vent.

Say G'day to term for me next time you speak to him. Oh and I was really suprised to see that Americans are real people just like us with all the same rough edges and good points. nah but seriously it's a great place and the people all treated me well and I can't wait to go back.

I did however have a hard time trying to get them to understand some of the things I was saying. It wasn't just the accent either but the way we structure a sentence, well thats my guess anyway.

I did pick up a serious addiction to Cherry Coke from Sonic and totaly fell in love with IHOP and Chilis. My g/f tried very hard to get me to like anything and everything with peanut butter and chocolate (mixed together) but I just couldn't cop that at all and the same goes for peanut butter and jelly.... gag.

I would say yes myself but not being a expert on the subject I maybe worng. I would say this though that their jelly is more like the jam you find in a jam dohnut and not like a standard jam found in a jar which has fruit in it.

Hey Strex long time no see. Oddly enough I knew someone was going to mention Hooters and I have to say i am not in the least suprised that it was you :).
