You have sign in via gamespy. But its requesting your 'nickname' when signing in to gamespy but I dont have one.

Anyone else get past this point?

This looks like BF1942 with nicer graphics. Is the gameplay any different to BF1942?

I don't know. I can't get into the game because of the compulsory gamespy account login. Which I do have, but I won't let me in without a nick name.

This looks like it could be all that BF1942 was not... however from looking at the screens I can't see any infantry at all.

Can you just be a little guy running around getting into different stuff? Or do you just spawn as the vehicle?

It's more of a strategy game. You control a fleet of different units, however you can select an individual unit (boat, sub, plane, etc) to control much like a FPS game.

ive played both the PC demo and Xbox 360, and i will be grabbing this when it comes out (probably xbox360).
feels ok on both tho.

i like the fact you have the strategic side of it with map commands and that. the demo map is small, id love to see a map without the current Asset limitations. id imagine it would be an awesome sight

We've been giving this a cainin on the LAN with the lads
Seriously good fun! Will definately be getting this when it comes out

Full broadsides from the battleships for the win!! (just watch out for torpedos an dive bombers!!!)
You can assign men to put out fires, repair dmg etc. When you combine the tactical overview with the ability to take macro control of a specific ship / aircraft squadron, it's absolutely awesome fun

Bonus is that even on low end machines this game runs incredibly smooth so it's a great LAN game where not everyone has uber rigs
