Just watching the news and saw Tim Flannery, the new Australian of the Year, accept his award from John Howard, then proceed to give it to him about his lack of effort towards fixing the environment - right in front of him mind you. Least someone has the balls!

Howard just stood there, it wasn't as bad as they make out. If he really wanted to stick it to the government he should've declined the award, the ONLY reason he got it was it's an election year and the global warming histeria's peaking.

It was a nice day for the presentation, sunny but cooler than canberra had been for the last few weeks. The event was spoilt by the loud advertising running on the big screens every few minutes and the retarded announcers.

The way that article is written, it sounds like most of those comments were taken from an ABC radio interview and weren't actually said at the ceremony...
