Topic: Attaching Internal Fan?

I've had a fan sitting around for ages I've wanted to put in my PC but never got around to finding the right screws/bolts, anyone know what sort I need? the holes to attach it are far too wide for a screw so I'd say I need some sort of nut and bolt solution, could I find the right size at bunnings etc? or do I have to go to a PC shop?

bunnings have 3mm nuts & bolts just get those. They're next to the tool section at underwood in little packets of abotu 20 or something. Mitre10 will have them too. You can also get REALLY fat screws to attach your fans with, I have some that I got with fans I got from old cases & odd electronic devices that I stuck my fans in with. none spare though sorry. Or if you're feeling bold, rivet them in.

1:Find a old power supply to get the fan screws - big fat things - that fit the fan holes.
2:Use fan as template on place where fan needs to go.(pencil required) Drill holes and fit fan.(drill ... dont put holes in self/others)
3: ...
4:Profit
