Hey, wasn't quite sure how to word the topic, but I'm moving in with some people and will be splitting the broadband plan as we are planning to get about 40gig worth of transfer.

Is there an app that can be run on client pc's as we wont have a central server, that will just count our usage of the net for the 10 gig each person?

the only way to do it is to have a central server because a client pc would not be able to work out who is who.

have it going

internet ---- server ---- network

so the server can see what IP address the data is going to. Either that or have individual usage meters on your windows desktops

du meter does that sort of thing
