Man, it's been too long between eps but now 4 and 5 are out if you're into the show. I swear this show gets better and better.

Ep 6 is finally here and I gotta say it's one of the funniest things I've seen in ages. OMG, Tobias cracks me up something fierce and Gob is just as stupid. Why are you being cancelled damn you? WHY?????

It's more a show for grown ups with a grown-up sense of humour, that's prolly why you don't get most of the jokes. I guess that's ok though, because shows like Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond wouldn't thrive if it weren't for people like you. Wait! That's a bad thing.

It is being replaced with a quality show, skating with the stars I beleive. I beleive its being cancelled because of horrible marketing and shuffling of timeslots.

i think not having a laugh track is a massively good start

good writing and interesting characters, that are well acted is also importnat

shows like arrested development, larry sanders and scrubs are all winners in this department

didn't like any of those shows spook :(

I didn't think ep6 was that funny

still liked the ep, but everyone on all the forums i read have been raving about how funny it was...

- Tobias with long hair extensions and his f***ed arm and legs
- Gob spraying the lighter fluid
- Michael getting hammered by the Mary Poppins doll..again!
- those stupid artists impressions of the floating houses
- Buster dancing to that Mr Robotica song and getting his hook caught
- Michael still not knowing Rita has the mind of a 5 year old

The list goes on.

IMO a lot of the great jokes in episode 6 were references to previous eps/AD injokes, so on the whole it'd seem pretty unfunny to the uninitiated or unfamiliar:
- Tobias's hair
- "I've made a huge mistake"
- "Club sauce" (LOL @ that one)
- "Where did the lighter fluid come from?"
- "Not a trick, it's an illusion!"
- "Come on!"
- Mary Poppins
- "Rita corny Michael!" (pulling the Lucille wink)
- Lindsay also attempting the Lucille wink
- GM as the Star Wars kid
- Surrogate
- "Smiles, smiles, smiles!"
- Buster saying "Mentally challenged" in EXACTLY the same way as "Delicious!" in the previous episode
- "Hop on... Hop on!" (Not sure if this was a reference, I might just be reading into things too much :P)
- George Michael's knowledge on the cousin marriage laws
- Even more Tobias homosexuality implications.. heh.

I also found much of the narration in ep6 hilarious, though some people seem to find it irritating.


The ending was undoubtedly one of the best TV show moments I've ever seen.

"Dear god why am I not going under water" had me cracking up.

Watched it last night, thought it was very funny. It is one of the few shows where I am garunteed to laugh out loud every time. Such a shame the screenings are so sporadic now. Might have to start watching from the beginning again.

This week's episode was good... specially that dig about HBO.

I'll have to watch this one of these days. A mate lent me a copy of Season 1 DVD boxed set some months ago an I've just never gotten round to watching them. So much other s*** to watch !!

The 2 hour 4 episode finale aired tonight in the US opposite the olympics openning ceremony.

There's stories on the net of people that know people that work for the show or fox, saying the cast aren't that sad, and that rumours are coming through that Fox has picked them up for two more seasons.

It stinks of bulls*** and false hope. Showtime picking it up would be cool. It ending on a high note would also be cool.

The idea is that Maebe was pitching a show about the bluth family to Ron Howard and it was rejected, as in the whole show was just a giant pitch that ended up rejected.

Mother of f*** these episodes were fantastic. Great ending to a great show.

Bateman was on E! news the other day saying they've had offers from 2 rival networks but the executives were in talks and decisions would be made this week. The way he was talking it looked like they were assuming it had all come to an end.

Tell you what. Justine Bateman was an absolute glamour playing that prostitute. She looks way better now than she used to in Family Ties.

Mallory is hot.

That she did, she looks much better with a more mature womanly face than the girlish round face she had in Family Ties.

Still I find it kind of funny that when I was a kid Jason Bateman was just "mallory's little brother" and now he kicks arse and I never hear of her work.
