Easy question to ask:

If firefox has saved/remembered a password for you (i.e. so everytime you login somewhere/something it automatically appears) is there any way to retrieve it and find out what it is from firefox? (the password I mean).

If that feature exists, it should definitately be password-protected.

It can be password protected, if you use set the master password. Just remember to close the browser/lock the workstation when you're not around.
