Yeah, plenty on ebay.

They sell them at my local bright eyes, mirror and non-mirror for about $25 - $40.

Not sure if its still there but there was this sunglasses place at carindale shopping centre. It was one of those stalls in the middle of the walkway.
edit: and they had aviators there... Where I got mine from.
Also if you get black ones you look like a highway patrol police officier.

Its true, I have them and you wouldn't believe the amount of people that get into my cab and think I'm a cop (or sometimes air force).

The only real aviators are Ray Bans, anything else is try-hard and = to teh ghey!

Aviators don't have to be mirror finish - its the frame shape that defines them.

I bought 2 pairs of aviators at Homebake for $10 each. I would have bought more but they sold out by the time I got to an ATM.

The ones that they sell at Bright Eyes and those shops aren't as good as the cheaper ones you get at music festivals - the frames are slightly smaller and are a different shape. My friends have pairs from these places and when put side by side to mine they aren't anywhere near as good.

Even some Raybans aren't as large or rounded and squared in the right places.

You'll notice not only are the size and shape different, but so is the reflectivity.

Although I think I know what you mean - my Rayban aviators aren't the original style, so there are a few different ones. For interest, mine are identical in shape to the ones that Bruce Willis is wearing when he is secret service for the president in Last Boy Scout. If you haven't seen this Billy, ask your brother cos anyone who likes Bruce must be a massive fan of this movie.

Ray Ban is the original avaitor style IIRC. They do (or at least used to) come in different sizes, for example Tom cruise'd have to wear the smaller version since he's a short arse. They were real big in the 80's I mean even I had the fake one...........now sad is that.
