Is there any rules or regulations with such sites in Australia?
What happens if the site is hosted overseas? Has anyone delt with this area before and would like to share any information, i plan to open one up soon.

I noticed umart.com.au has cheaper prices listed on their website compared to their normal retail price, is this because they somehow bypass taxes or something to make it cheaper? (maybe im thinking to much!)

Any information on the said topic would be appreciated! Thanks in advanced.

ok in answer to the Umart question,

I think you'll find the reason of this is the fact the storefront won't have a truckload of customers at the doors, thus needing to hire my shop monkeys.

They have cheaper prices to encourage people to order online first rather than just turn up, cos its easier for them.

AFAIK, you're pretty much right to set up and sell anything that is legal to sell, and is allowed by your host.

Mate from tafe did this, worked for a pc store got to know all the whole salers, now hes pulling in 10K+ a month, farken sk at least he gives me wholesale prices :)
